Attorney at Law
Kyle Hanson is a partner at Hanson Law Group, now in his eighth year practicing law in Wisconsin and Illinois with a focus on civil litigation and business matters.
Kyle has been writing and litigating shareholder agreements, breach-of-fiduciary-duty claims, and related matters for his entire career – beginning with working on business transactions as a student attorney in 2009. He writes and advises on operating and employment agreements, restrictive covenants, vendor and customer contracts, merger and acquisition contracts, and securities private placements.
Kyle is a patent attorney with experience in software development and a background in engineering, mathematics, and physics.
He moderated a continuing legal education course for lawyers on Protecting IP in an Agile Software Development Environment, hosted by the American Bar Association.
He has tried many cases alone and with other attorneys, on various business matters ranging from contractual disputes to fraud, and up to two weeks in length. Kyle has successfully petitioned for review and argued before the Wisconsin Supreme Court in 2016-2017.
When not at work, Kyle can usually be found playing ultimate frisbee, discussing or teaching about Scripture, or chasing his two-year-old son Samuel alongside his wife of nine years Rachel.
